We found the bug and squashed it. Now Wapsilon is fast again.
About the banners
We get mail from people who ask us if we can remove the banners. As much as we
would love to give you a banner-free site, we can't.
Wapsilon depends solely on donations and banner revenue.
We also get questions about privacy. Because Google's ads work with
referer-headers, can they see your login credentials? We understand that while
we trust Google, you might not. That is why we filter all external WAP URLs
through a normalization process. This tries to eliminate passwords and session
IDs and is very succesful as long as site desigeners use meaningful parameter
names.
About the portal
The "home" page with WAP links is out dated and half of the links no longer work. We are aware of that, and will replace the portal page soon. Thank you for your patience.
